在SAT语法部分题目中，代词考点所占比例一直比较大，即单数代词指代单数名词，复数代词指代复数名词。本文主要按照反身代词作为主语、宾语两种情况介绍其基本用法，考生们可作参考。通过SAT语法真题的训练大家也应该要了解SAT语法考点的内容。
1、反身代词不能单独作为句子(包括分句、从句)的主语，只能作为主语的同位语，以表示强调。例如：By the time (A) Mitzie and myself (B) got to the box office， all (C) of the tickets were sold out (D). No error (E)
错误出在B 选项，myself 不能单独作为by the time 引导的时间状语从句的主语，应改为其主格形式I。
2、反身代词何时才能单独作为句子的宾语?只有当动词的逻辑主语与逻辑宾语是同一对象时，反身代词才能够单独作为该动词的宾语。
例如：When Doris Lessing published The Golden Notebook in 1962， it (A) instantly established herself as one (C) of the most important (D) literary voices of her generation. No error (E)
错误在A 选项，当时有许多同学认为it 没有错误，它指代前面的The Golden Notebook，没有什么指代不明确的问题。但是，由于herself 已经单独作为了动词established 的宾语，所以要求该动词的主语只能是she(指代前面的Doris Lessing)。故应把A 改为she。
再如：The environment forces ourselves to get used to the changes around us.
动词forces的主语是environment，而宾语是ourselves，两者不是同一对象。所以，ourselves应该为us。
